 The 3rd Pedal Your Butte-Off! Challenge will be held on Sunday, June 23nd is a 'Human Powered Wheeled Event' where entrants use their creativity and imagination to build and enter a wheeled device powered only by humans (no motors of any kind allowed!). Entrants start and end at Town park and follow a pre-designated route through the Town of Crested Butte. Once completed, we end at Town Park for live music with Easy Jim, beer, food, and celebrate life at our free festive event where judges announce the 2024 Challenge winner(s)! This family friendly and community event is designed to raise awareness about and reduce the stigma associated with behavioral health issues where suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for ages 10–34 and the 4th leading cause of death for ages 35–54 100% of the funds we raise go directly to provide mental and behavioral health services at Gunnison Valley Health to those in the community who are un(der)insured.
