(Molly Murfee)1.jpg) Tap into the energies of the Autumn Equinox on September 22 to create a space of pause and balance - to reflect and center; support your mental, emotional and spiritual health; energize your creativity; and foster grounding and nurturing relationships to both your home place and community. Writing Through the Changes is a self-directed creative writing, journaling, meditation, and nature and community connection course focused on the year’s seasonal markers. Offered by writer and educator Molly Murfee, a specially curated set of prompts, exercises, and inspirational readings unlock the cathartic and inspirational potential of writing when married to intentional and slowed time in nature. You’ll unearth a positive outlet and regular rhythm for your creativity and self-expression by delving into the season’s metaphorical significance and symbolism, while establishing seasonally-based personal ceremony as your own internal seasons rise and fall with the external ones. Emphasis is placed on disconnecting from technology and obligation and intentionally carving out quiet space for yourself. As a self-directed course, materials become available online, formatted in various downloadable modalities: video, audio, and a pdf packet, so you can complete them anytime, anywhere, and for however long you choose. There are no scheduled Zoom, chat, forum or in-person requirements.
