 The Slate River Working Group invites you to join them for an Open House on Thursday, May 16th at 5:00 pm at the Depot. We will share information about the different management approaches the Working Group plans to roll out this spring on the Upper Slate River. This includes river signage, a human presence at key river access points, the proposed river etiquette, the 2018 and 2019 Great Blue Heron Studies and a voluntary-no float period intended to protect the birds during their critical nesting period. We hope to see you there!
