KidProv Camp Beginner and Intermediate Improvisational Workshop ~ (Ages 13 - 18) Camp: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. June 17 – 21 Performance: Friday, June 21 at 1:00 pm. Kids and improv go together like peanut butter and jelly. Cute kitten videos and the internet. Frosting and sprinkles. This summer, the Gunnison Arts Center presents KidProv, with improv wrangler, Harmony S. Dawson. She guides the youth through improv activities in a supportive environment which boost the four C’s: creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. There’s no right or wrong answer in improv and once we let go of the fear and self-judgment, we will embrace the fun and silliness, letting our spontaneity and creativity take over. We will share our new skills with friends, family and the community in a performance on Friday, June 21 at 1:00 pm. Instructor: Harmony Dawson. Min. 6 students to run camp. Tuition: $80/student.
