Join Mountain Roots on Thursday afternoon, July 8 from 4:00-7:00 pm at South Main Studios in Gunnison for a peek at the future of food. Mountain Roots is growing itself as an organization in order to better grow nutritious food locally in the Gunnison Valley. Part of that mission involves implementing four container farms that we recently acquired to grow greens in Gunnison 12 months a year. These Freight Farms are just one piece of the puzzle we're building to bolster our local food system. Please join us for a tour of the freight farms and to learn more about all of our programs throughout the valley. Tapas-themed refreshments will be served and guided tours will be offered throughout the evening.
