Start off the day by watching the parade in town on Elk Avenue at 11 AM, then head up to the mountain for some afternoon and evening fun. CBMR’s VIP Freedom package allows guests to enjoy twilight access to the Red Lady Express lift, Evolution Bike Park and the Adventure Park from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM. After some fun on the mountain, Freedom package holders can enjoy a classic Fourth of July BBQ dinner with all the fixings from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM, located right next to Red Lady Stage on the lawn in the base area. Tickets also include a swag bag with festive patriotic flair and a limited edition Crested Butte logo hat plus a drink ticket (choice of house wine or beer for Adults 21 and up with ID)! Bring a blanket and chairs and camp out on the lawn for a fun filled evening, rain or shine. Only a limited number of spaces are available, so be sure to purchase in advance. Pricing and information is available at the Evolution Bike Shop or online at www.ridecb.com/events. Free concerts will take place all evening at Red Lady Stage, starting at 5:30 PM with the Kitchen Dwellers headlining the evening concert at 7:30 PM. The peak of Mt. Crested Butte will be lit once the sun goes down. It is a sight you won’t want to miss, so bring a smile and dancing shoes for a night full of fun. Drinks and BBQ will be available for purchase right next to the live music to keep everyone fueled for a fun night. Please note that no outside alcohol or dogs will be permitted on the lawn due to safety and state regulations.
