Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation’s annual Ski and Snowboard Swap is scheduled for Nov. 2 and 3 at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square Ballroom in Mt. Crested Butte. Friday night, Nov. 2, the swap will take place from 5-8 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 3, the swap will be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for the purchase of new and used gear. The swap also offers a chance to sell quality downhill ski, Nordic and snowboard gear. Organizers will only accept quality equipment that is in good condition. Drop-off times are Thursday, Nov. 1 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at the 4-Way Stop in Crested Butte and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at Mountaineer Field House in Gunnison. Gear also can be dropped off on Friday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square Ballroom in Mt. Crested Butte. Create your seller ID before dropping off gear. This will save time and your sanity. To pre-register, for more information about the event or to volunteer, visit cbsnowsports.org. A portion of proceeds from the swap benefit the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation, which provides financial support for youth in Crested Butte and Gunnison in their pursuit of competitive and recreational skiing and snowboarding.
