 The Art and Craft of Songwriting Wednesdays, 5:00 - 7:00 pm. February 13 & 20. A two part workshop exploring the art and craft of songwriting; topics covered will include the creative process, song idea and concept, form and structure, rhyming patterns, melody, and overcoming obstacles such as finishing a work in progress that seems stuck. All levels and genres welcome. Bringing an instrument and a work in progress (or an idea for a song) is encouraged but not mandatory. Instructor: Chris Coady. $50/student, $42.50/members. *When signing up for a class, if you wish to bring a guest, indicate the number of guests under the ‘Guest Registration’ line. If you intend to attend the class on your own, please leave this section blank, so as not to register for extra spots and incur extra costs.
