 Join the Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum, December 18th at 7 pm to explore the rise of sports and recreation in the ‘70s through discussion and storytelling. A panel of guests who conquered mountains and blazed trails will share stories and memories around telemarking, Gelande jumping, klunking, softball, and more. Panelists Craig Hall, Don Cook, Jim Dirkson, and Sue Navy will lead discussions exploring sports and recreation in the 1970s. We invite those who also share in these memories to come and join the conversation to share stories of your own. The Museum encourages the audience to come with questions and stories to help us truly understand how the 1970s laid the foundation for the community we know today.
