The Black and White Ball is an annual celebration hosted by the museum commemorating the anniversary of making historic Tony’s Conoco the museum’s forever home. In June of 2003, the Crested Butte Museum moved from the old depot to the heart of Crested Butte, preserving the old hardware store in the center of town. As with most quintessential Crested Butte celebrations, attendees break into their costume trunks and don their finest black and white attire and dancing shoes! This event has historically been a family-friendly street party featuring live music, libations, a raffle with awesome prizes, and a connection to the community. |
