 Knitting for Beginners Thursdays, 5:00 - 7:00 pm. January 27 - March 3. Looking for the right project to master basic knitting skills? Learn to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off with this classic, reversible scarf. Live instructor sessions also come with access to video tutorials of all in-class skills. The Broken Garter Scarf is the perfect item to gift a special someone or add a touch of luxury to your wardrobe. Students have the option to bring their own supplies or purchase them through the GAC. Supplies needed: US size 6 straight needles. 550 yards of worsted weight yarn of choice. Recommended yarns are superwash merino wool or superwash alpaca/wool blend. Instructor: Pidge Carlisle. $80/student, $68/members. Supplies Included. $55/student, $43/members. Supplies NOT Included.
