 Please join us on Saturday, January 25 at the Gunnison Library for a Community Rock & Fossil Day! The day includes: Presentation 1 PM Dr. Ryan King (WCU Geology) will discuss trace fossils and how geologists use them Family Friendly Activities 2-4PM Open sessions Rock, mineral, and fossil identification: Bring your rock, mineral, or fossils and talk to a geologist about identifying it Create a trace fossil Create a geologic time scale Learn to identify common minerals, rocks and fossils
