Join renowned Colorado historian Dr. Duane Vadenbusche for an exciting slide show about our small neighboring town, Marble. The fourth of a 5 part lecture series with Colorado Historian, Duane Vandenbusche. He came to the Gunnison Valley to teach history at Western in 1962 and has authored nearly a dozen books. The 2025-2026 Winter series will showcase the history of Crested Butte, the early days of the Gunnison Valley, early skiing recreation history, the importance of Camp Hale, and the natural resources of Marble.
