Celebrate community on July 21st at the I Bar Ranch! Each year, the Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley awards grants to 39 local nonprofits and qualifying organizations in the areas of arts and culture, athletics and recreation, community development, domestic animal welfare, education, environment, health and human services and historical tradition and preservation. This year, CFGV will award $161,055 at the annual Community Grants Celebration, the highest amount ever awarded. New this year, various local nonprofits will have information tables for community members to learn more about and get involved with nonprofits. Following the ceremony, there will be a happy hour with a drawing for a chance to win one of two $1,000 grants to the winner’s nonprofit of choice.
