Gunnison Valley Calendar Is Your Source for Valley-Wide Notifications.

Gunnison Valley Calendar is a regional one-stop calendar where you can post your organization's functions to a shared single website around the Gunnison Valley from Crested Butte to Gunnison.  The goal is to make posting information easy so that you don't have to submit to multiple calendars.  Please review your content prior to submissions. For Public Service Announcements with KBUT Community Radio, please submit your material two weeks in advance.  For edits and questions about entries, please email Kelley@kbut.org.

Details: West African Dance Classes with Mami : Sundays 4pm! 4 week series Intergenerational Class for all levels & ages! Location: Jones Studio, CB Center for the Arts Drop in $22, 4 classes $75. Mami Sayon Camara, a native of Guinea, West Africa teaches traditional dances and rhythms that are inherent in the culture of Guinea. This 4 week series is Beginner friendly. Class includes warm-up, break down of movement and learning specific Guinean Dances & rhythms . Mami is a skilled dynamic teacher excited to share her culture with the Gunnison Valley Community. She is an accomplished West African Dance artist and is an integral part of the Kissidugu Foundation. All proceeds from class directly support the Kissidugu Foundation.
