 West African Dance Classes with Mami : Sundays 4pm! 4 week series Intergenerational Class for all levels & ages! Location: Jones Studio, CB Center for the Arts Drop in $22, 4 classes $75. Mami Sayon Camara, a native of Guinea, West Africa teaches traditional dances and rhythms that are inherent in the culture of Guinea. This 4 week series is Beginner friendly. Class includes warm-up, break down of movement and learning specific Guinean Dances & rhythms . Mami is a skilled dynamic teacher excited to share her culture with the Gunnison Valley Community. She is an accomplished West African Dance artist and is an integral part of the Kissidugu Foundation. All proceeds from class directly support the Kissidugu Foundation.
