Join the Vinotok Tribe to share in a locally harvested, organic community feast. The evening begins at 5:30 PM with Marcie Telander, D.Div. performing the ancient, non-denominational Handfasting Ceremony where couples, families, friends, partners and the entire community join in sharing vows and promises of re-commitment for a healthy, transforming future. Immediately following the ceremony, enjoy a feast of seasonal, organic, regional and sustainably grown vegetables and meats. There is a cash bar with a variety of offerings. No outside alcohol is allowed! You must bring your own utensils, plates, bowls and cups. The event includes live music by local musicians (bring your musical instruments), a wreath making station and poetry and short story reading by local writers (bring your words). Wear your warm Vinotok best as it gets very chilly! Visit the website for ticket prices and more info. Advance tickets available at Vinotok's booth at the Crested Butte Farmer's Market Information Booth on 9/15, the Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum, Rumors Coffee & Tea House and Octopus Coffee. Tickets are cash only. Sometimes we have some available at the feast, but we usually sell out. Click here for the event website |
