 Easy Jim formed in the fall of 2018, inspired by the iconic Robert Hunter lyric, “Settle back, easy Jim…” Hailing from the mountains of Gunnison and Crested Butte, Colorado, the band is a laid-back group of seasoned musicians bonded by a deep love for the music of the Grateful Dead. This six-piece ensemble mirrors the Dead’s classic lineup with two drummers, layered keys and guitars, and rich four-part vocal harmonies. Known for adventurous improvisation, tight musicianship, and electrifying energy, Easy Jim delivers a unique experience every time they take the stage. No two shows are alike, but every performance is a heartfelt tribute to one of rock ’n’ roll’s most legendary bands.
